We’ve got a fantastic opportunity to add someone to our CJB team. We’re looking for someone who will add value, think independently, work well in groups, like to learn, use good judgment, and will stay with us a long time.

Operations Assistant  Cypress Street. The Operations Assistant is responsible for providing support for all aspects of operations, providing primary clerical support for the maintenance department, maintaining specific manufacturing and packaging functions, ordering production supplies, and providing back up / overflow assistance to operational documentation ERP entry and customer reporting.  Starting pay between $15.50-$20.00/hr depending on applicable experience.

Requirements: 
HS Diploma/GED. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Georgia Work Keys scores (Math – 5, Graphic Lit – 4, Workplace Documents – 4).  Drug Free Workplace.  Must be comfortable on warehouse plant floor and in an office setting.

Preferences:
College Associates or Bachelor Degree. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Other Duties may be assigned.

Maintenance Assistance:

  1. Work order entry into Mpulse.
  2. Preventive maintenance entry into MPulse.
  3. Scan and file Contractor Awareness forms.

Specific Manufacturing and Packaging Functions:

  1. Manufacturing sheet review prior to entry.
  2. Clerical updates to Packaging sheets based on departmental requests.
  3. Review Video as needed.
  4. Make signs as needed.
  5. Scan and file Hazardous Manifests into file on F: drive and file hard copy.
  6. Maintaining All Waste Disposal
  7. Support all plant trainings (i.e. materials, food, etc.)

Ordering Production Supplies:

  1. Managing production supplies used in operation.
  2. Compares pricing, orders, and maintains inventory of PPE
  3. Assist New Hires with Uniform ordering

Back up / Overflow Assistance:

  1. Back up to Sage X3 data entry
  2. Back up to Shipping and Receiving Clerks (i.e. paperwork entry)
  3. Back up to Inventory Manager (i.e. support physical inventory counts)
  4. Back up Production and Inventory Control Analyst (i.e. maintaining office filing systems)
  5. Back up to reception duties (i.e. answering phones and greeting customers)

Qualification requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. College Associates or extensive comparable experience preferred.  Georgia Work Ready assessment required. Minimum scores: Applied Math: 5; Graphic Literacy: 4; Workplace Documents: 4.

Language Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and visitors.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to interpret graphs. 

Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and others as required by job duties.
