Summary:
Responsible for installing and maintaining equipment in an industrial facility setting. Various skills are helpful, such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry, pipe fitting, welding, and fabricating. The successful candidate will use these skills to safely construct new systems, install new equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and perform service work. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other Duties may be assigned.
Uses a variety of skills including electrical, mechanical, carpentry, pipe fitting, welding, and fabricating.
Works with Operations to keep equipment operation optimal to meet production needs.
Works with Operations, Planning/Scheduling and Maintenance Team to schedule Predictive, Preventive Maintenance activities.
Installs new equipment.
Changes configuration of existing equipment systems and constructs new systems.
Leads contracted maintenance employees maintenance activities.
Orders all materials needed to conduct maintenance activities.
Conduct other day to day maintenance duties as necessary (changing filters, light bulbs, etc)

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Georgia Work Ready Test required. Minimum scores: Graphic Literacy: 5, Applied Math: 4, Workplace Documents: 5. Demonstrated manufacturing maintenance experience along with electrical skills are a plus.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing equipment manuals. Ability to effectively communicate and schedule PPM requirements with all levels of peers and management.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret graphs. Ability to read and interpret scales. Computer Based Skills: Ability to understand basic computer software. Ability to maintain information database
